Finding Homes For Veterans

The goal at Veterans Path up is to provide Honorably discharged Veterans with stable housing, ultimately leading them on a path to home ownership. VPU provides assistance for Veterans who are working but can’t afford the opportunity of home ownership or even decent housing. Home Ribbon Cutting

On Thursday, January 28, 2016, Veterans Path Up celebrated with its very first ribbon cutting at their first home rehab project that started October 9, 2015. Army veteran Wade Davis and his wife Jennifer were selected to move into the house after Executive Director Ken Lacy met Wade while he was there volunteering at the house. Rehab Project Started Friday

Our latest rehab project started last Friday, October 9th. Our volunteers worked extremely hard filling a 20 foot dumpster along with the city yard removal truck. Considering the trees, shrubs, vines, and limbs removed, the city filled up a truck to capacity and still must come back for more!
